Reset your Mind, Body & Soul Challenge

Today is the day!!!! Are you as excited as I am?  This is Day 1 of the 20 day “Reset Your Mind, Body & Soul Challenge.” Each day we will have one action step to take, all to lead us to feeling better inside and out. Restoring our health, reclaim our calm, reset our overall well-being. The use of holistic wellness brings focus to your mind, body & soul – the understanding that all three work together in harmony.

I read an article from the Cleveland Clinic that lists the benefits of why you should start your day with lemon water. I’ll list them here for you but you can click the link above if you want to read the full article they published.

  1. Aids in digestion

  2. Helps you stay hydrated

  3. Weight loss friendly

  4. Prevents oxidation

  5. Supplies a healthy dose of vitamin C

  6. Provides a potassium boost

  7. Helps prevent kidney stones

I’ve also read that it can help prevent heart disease, reduce the risk of cancer and protect against anemia. But I haven’t found an article from a legit medical source to site yet. But, from what I have read on the subject, it’s an amazing way to start the day.

I’ve also just started a training on learning about Ayurveda and I know they promote drinking lemon water as part of your morning routine. Once I complete my training and start implementing the practices into my life, I’ll be sharing with you.
