Diffuser blends for reducing stress and anxiety

If you have ever struggled with depression or anxiety or just daily stress, you know the blessing that any relief can bring. I’ve been dealing with depression and anxiety for years, that is what actually lead me to learning more about essential oils and becoming a Certified Aromatherapist. I wanted to share with you some diffuser blends that are beneficial for stress, anxiety, depression, or even for your meditation. If you struggle with any of the things I’ve mentioned, I would HIGHLY advocate for meditation to be incorporated into your life. It’s been an absolute savior for me!

I’m going to give you a bit of information on each of the oils in the blend and I’ll notate any relevant safety info.

  1. Lavender – Emotionally this oil encourages balances all the body systems. It’s a powerhouse oil of therapeutic components and is one of the most popular essential oils on the market. It has amazing effects on the system to allow it to relax and be calm.

  2. Geranium – Emotionally, this oil has been known to calm anxious feelings, provide protection from irritability, and provide a sense of stability and security.

  3. Chamomile – (Roman or German can be used) – Calming, soothing, sedative.

  4. Clary Sage – This oil can aid in reducing anxiety, calming the mind and lift you emotionally. It can soothe the mind of negativity. It is rich in linalyl acetate and linalool, known for their relaxing effects on the mind, heart, and body.

  5. Ylang Ylang – The scent of this oil is known for it’s intoxicating, relaxing aroma. It has a sedative property that can cause an overall soothing effect. It encourages feelings of euphoria.

*Ylang Ylang is non-toxic but can cause skin sensitivity on young children if used undiluted.

  2. Lime – The aroma of this oil is bright and refreshing. It can uplift the spirits and bring a lightness to the mind, body & spirit.

  3. Mandarin – (NOTE, you can use Sweet Orange): It has sedative and antidepressant properties thanks to the d-limonene component, energetically & emotionally it’s very calming and relieving. It calls in bright, positive energy and  can unlock and circulant stagnant energy.

  2. Clary Sage – This oil can aid in reducing anxiety, calming the mind and lift you emotionally. It can soothe the mind of negativity. It is rich in linalyl acetate and linalool, known for their relaxing effects on the mind, heart, and body.

  3. Ylang Ylang – The scent of this oil is known for it’s intoxicating, relaxing aroma. It has a sedative property that can cause an overall soothing effect. It encourages feelings of euphoria.

  4. Majoram –  Emotionally, this oil is warming and comforting, promotes opening of your heart, it’s known to aid in calming an active mind.

  1. Cedarwood –  Due to this oils sedative properties, it’s relaxing and calming. It’s emotionally supportive and grounding.

  2. LavenderEmotionally this oil encourages balances all the body systems. It’s a powerhouse oil of therapeutic components and is one of the most popular essential oils on the market. It has amazing effects on the system to allow it to relax and be calm.

  3. Patchouli – This oils seems to calm everything down, it can help to open  your heart and mind, ease the overthinking.

  1. Lavender – Emotionally this oil encourages balances all the body systems. It’s a powerhouse oil of therapeutic components including but botlimited to analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal. It enhances immune function.

  2. Vetiver – This oil is very grounding, it aids in connecting you to the earth and to yourself. It has sedative properties and is deeply relaxing.

  3. Cedarwood –  Due to this oils sedative properties, it’s relaxing and calming. It’s emotionally supportive and grounding.
