4 Steps to Self-Acceptance

𝘋𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘴𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘹𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧? ⁣

Did you immediately say, WTF? Yeah, I figured. It's ok.⁣

Let me explain what the fuck I'm talking about. Let's dig in, shall we?⁣

When we disconnect from within, we are essentially separating from ourself. As we lose pieces of ourself, we are left with empty space - holes. Which does not allow us to feel whole and complete. ⁣

It’s hard to love yourself when you don’t feel complete, when you feel full of empty space. The unknown can cause stress, overwhelm & anxiety. ⁣

Seperation Anxiety. So how do you overcome this? ⁣

The road to feeling completely whole is through self-acceptance. Which is essentially a fancy way of saying it’s time to learn to like who you are. So how do you begin? Follow these 4 steps. ⁣

1. Focus⁣

2. Trust⁣

3. Believe⁣

4. Appreciate⁣

𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 on one thing at a time. ⁣

We all know what it’s like to try and change 27 things at once right? We decide we are going to change our lives and eat better, exercise, mediate, blah blah blah - how successful are you when you try to do it all immediately? We fall flat on our fucking faces! So baby steps my friend. Focus on one thing, heal that space and then move to the next “hole” that needs to be filled and healed. ⁣

𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 in the process. ⁣

Any healing journey is going to be hard. But it’s a choice. You have a choice to stay where you are (which is obviously hard right?) or to begin a journey of healing, which yes it’s hard. They both are but the choice is yours, which hard feels better for you? While you are on the journey, you have to trust that you are on the point of the path for you. Trust. The. Process. ⁣

𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 in yourself. ⁣

This might be hard given the fact that you are trying to accept yourself so you are trying to also believe in yourself at the same time, am I asking too much of you? Nope. I’m not asking anything of you. This is all about you. This is about YOU asking this of YOU. ⁣

𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 the growth.⁣

This is all about celebrating the wins. Along the journey, when it gets hard, when it feels like nothing is ever going to change, it’s time to take inventory. It’s time to list what has changed. This will also help to keep you motivated to continue. ⁣

This is a beautiful process but one that can bring up a lot of emotions. If you feel you need support working through those emotions, I'd love to hop on a free call with you to guide you! My discovery calls are no cost to you, just a conversation to see if we can co-create the life you want. Click here to book your call.

Sending you love & light,
