10 Morning Self-Care Rituals for Busy Moms (Empower Yourself in 15 Mins!)



As a mom, you probably feel as though your schedule is always hectic and that time is limited to even think about self-care.


However, self-care is not just a luxury. This is not optional. Remember that it’s difficult to take care of your family when you are neglecting your own self. 


I say this to my clients all the time: Love yourself first. Your greatest source of love should be YOU. Not your husband.


Yes, I said that :)


When you take care of yourself first, you are able to love your spouse, your children, and everyone else from a space of generosity instead of scarcity. It serves you and everyone around you benefits!



So let’s go ahead and dive right in!



Meditation


Find a private and quiet spot in your home. Sit and close your eyes. Empty your mind for 10 minutes by focusing on your breathing. Inhale. Exhale. When thoughts pop up in your head, release them and go back to your breathing. What it does is it creates space in your mind so new creative and brilliant ideas can come in! This is an excellent way to stop your brain from recycling old thought patterns and produce new beautiful ideas.



Shower


Physically speaking, it’s hygienic and healthy. Spiritually speaking, it’s a great way to renew your energy. It relieves mild stress and anxiety. You feel fresh, renewed and ready to slay!


Journal


You don’t need 1 hour to journal on your thoughts. A good example would be simply writing 3 things that you are grateful for in your life. You can also write 3 things that you desire. Doing this will inspire your subconscious mind to manifest your desires quickly.


Skincare


Wash, moisturize, and sunblock. Three simple steps that can do wonders on your skin! As a woman, never be lazy in taking care of your face. Taking care of your physical body will make your Inner Queen smile :)


Call your favorite person


It’s important to cultivate real friendships even when you are already a wife and mother. Friends add value in your life and you deserve to experience the joys that a true friendship can bring. So go ahead and call your favorite friend.


Get moving


Do some stretching, go for a quick run, or copy a fitness routine on Youtube. If you feel like going to the gym is time-consuming, there are plenty of fitness gurus on Youtube that can help you stay fit for FREE.


Color

Water therapy


We all know it - 8 glasses of water daily. And yet many of us seem to neglect this or forget about this. Drink your water. It hydrates your body and it prevents kidney stones and it also prevents you from overeating.


Forgive yourself


We’re all about gratitude and that’s so beautiful. I would also highly recommend that you practice daily self-forgiveness. Pause and reflect. Ask yourself: What do I need to forgive myself for? Forgive yourself quickly and fully!


Log out of all your social media profiles


You start to scroll and you don’t even realize it that you’ve already spent half an hour just scrolling! Oh no! I highly suggest that you moderate the time that you are spending on social media. Most importantly, ONLY follow people that raise your vibes and elevate your frequency.



You don’t have to do ALL ten :) Picking one or two rituals would be a good start. Your intention is to add joy, peace and calmness in your life, NOT to create a to-do list in your already busy life.
